With no prior music experience required, the Music Champions 20 week programme is designed to help you find new ways to bring joy and happiness to those living with dementia, creating ‘in the moment’ experiences through the power of music. Over the course of 20 face-to-face sessions, our music therapists and musicians will teach you valuable music therapy techniques so that you can set up and run your own music sessions.

As well as your face-to-face sessions, you’ll also engage in online sessions with other Music Champions to discuss your experiences with the wider community, ask any questions and learn from each other. This is a great opportunity to build a supportive network of your peers, ensuring you get the care and support that you need.

Through this online portal you’ll find many useful resources, from tracks and details of your training sessions through to inspiring stories from other carers and tutorial videos you can return to again and again.
